How Long Will It Take?

The most frequently asked questions are:

“How long will this take?,” and

“How much is this going to cost?”

These are important questions. There are many variables that figure into giving you an adequate quote.  Please give us call to set up your
introductory flight.  This introductory flight is more than a sight seeing experience, it’s a chance for you to evaluate our school – to see if we’re right for you.  After your flight we’ll discuss in detail how much, and how long, it should take you.

Training Frequency:

The more frequently you train, the more information you retain, the faster your flying skills develop and the faster you get through your training and the less money it will take – simple – right?

Whoever coined the phrase that: “time is money” wasn’t joking.

Everyone Learns Differently:

While your course syllabus will dictate the structure of your lessons and the order in which they are given to maximize your learning efficiency. Your proficiency and comfort may dictate that some lessons should be repeated.  Safety and the level of mastery must be our guide.

Time: (Private Pilot Example) “The First Step” The Federal Aviation Regulations dictate that the minimum flight hours to complete a Private Pilot Certificate is over 35 hours.  The national average is about 80 hours of flight time.  At HFA the average student completes the private pilot certificate in approximately 52 hours; a significant saving of time and money.

We will design a training plan that best suits your needs.  We have had people use their two week vacation time to complete the private license from start to finish.  No kidding!
